these programs are so thick as they dont realy discuss things in anny inteligent way its just random peoples opinoins and they are not evan skilled at exspressing them , what is sad is that when u do have inteligent people weather religouse, insane , or not , they often only get 2 min to say something on the news.
We should have tv programs that are 2-4 hours of structured talking between interlectuals or properly planed debates that would allow an audeance to actualy listen to inteligent arguments give opertunity for people talking to inteligently and clearly rebut what sumone has said.
maby have a good documentry on something thats 60 min allowing an audeance to get a good idea of the issues and then have leaders in the feald debate aspects of the issues at hand.

people that don't like wow are people that can see that wow is just a grind.

I can fully understand people that play wow casualy , and play it as you would play anny other game thats totaly fine , just going online doing some quests with mates maby spending 1 hour a night (or how many hours u normally spend on games) , or cuple hours a week thats fine and there are manny people that do play wow like that.


but the vast majority of people that play wow are deluded into this false sense of productivity , its like a cancer.

thats why the mechanics are bad its gr8 in a comercail sense , but in terms of game play its utter shit ( aside for people that are able to believe they are been productive)


its analogous to gambling ,in my opinion its fine for people to gamble every now and again and can be quite enjoyable despite the fact that pure gambling (slot machines bookies ect fixed odds betting) is rigged and you are going to lose , you can still find the enjoyment in it , its when people fall for the trap of thinking its a profitable thing , and get sucked into the emotional aspect of it.

There is quite allot of lag , If you play the game on a lan it plays compelaty differently.
allso if you are used to playing games like unreal torniment , cs1.6 css , dod , quake you can instantly see how much lag there is in anny BF game before frost bite ( although bf2 and 2142 were defintly an improvment i think the netcode was still shit they just increased the power of the guns and the shooting speed and this masks lag to an extent thats primarely why Destert combat and project realty both played well as despite the laf it only took 2 shots to kill people)
Just play bf1943 which is bassicaly 1942 in frost bite engin and u can see what i mean , for example you can shoot people that are running harazontaly from you with the sniper all the way across the map , in 1942 it was pritty much imposable to head shot moving people at a long range you would allso shot people standing still and it would not register as a hit.
I just hope they do a game thats more in the spirit of 1942 for pc ( not just the 3 maps u get in 1943) since BF2 they have gone down the road of making the maps allot smaller and having the combat more in your face m where as with 1942 you would have people doign convoys and people having to use vehicals for transport which intraduces allot of game play that you dont find in anny other games on the market , where as basic ground combat is well coverd by other companies.

I don't remember any bad lags when I played. Um, I don't think BF1943 came out for PC/Windows.

Hey, this is an important one for me because it moves me so much too. I was just wondering if you understood exactly what he was saying and still found it uninteresting.

He's not saying in the clip that you're JUST made of the same stuff. It's not like he's just saying: "cars are made of metal, and toasters are made of metal".

What he's saying is that (statistically speaking) the actual, individual atoms that make up your body WERE at one point, part of a star. They were also any number of other things. Your actual body is made of stardust. And not just that. You've also been flowers and rocks and trees and water and (less-romantically) you've probably been poop for most of the time since Earth began.

Take a look at your hand... what you're looking at right now has at one point been several-hundred-thousand-degrees.

Sorry to drone on. I just find that completely fascinating. I could ponder it for much, much longer. I know you probably understood the clip. Just making sure.

whats strange though is although im sure the raw drawing was a "styl" and done on perpouse allot of the time it looked realy basic something you would use in a kids cartoon with realy simple flat colours . and then in other shots of the air craft and other things the detail went up quite abit

lots of the shots i thought were realy nicely done though and flowed realy well together , i would have preferd a slighty more mature art style though and i think a mor emature art style would have gelld with the CGI components and FX sceens better.

finaly , i think the story was a bit lacking in content and was deliverd rediculously slowly for such a simple message , i allso found the ending prodictable and not realy what i wanted.

im allso not 100% certain on the message or if th emessage convayed actualy works , I guess it makes more sense from an amercan perspective where it was 100% optoinal to go to war. Im prityy sure from the uk perspective it was a case of if we dont fight the germans we are fucked.

I think the plot and message would have worked better if this was set in the context of a more obvouse moral dilemma and i actualy asumed this was the case when the bomb dores opend i thoght there plane would be the one that droped the A bomb , as in that instance u have a far more obvouse moral dilemma to things. other than that i guess it could have made more of a thing showing savilean deths. (although the cartoon did alude to that and the piolot reolising the simularaties of humanity.)

in the end If there is no real moral dilema and the piolot is esentualy fighting because he has to , im not quite sure what he could convay to his son or future generatoins that would be of anny use (within the context of choosing to fight or not).
