theREALnews: What happened to Posse Comitatus?
"Natural *or* Man-Made Acts" is what concerns me the most. It suggests that in the event of a Hurricane, Earthquake or other Natural disaster (with a capital N) that the people affected could be legally considered and dealt with as combatants for breaking into a walmart for water or baby formula (ala NOLa) and would likewise be treated similarly if there was, say, nu-ku-lar attack or Civil Unrest (ala UC Berkley in the 60's).
There's a reason for Posse Comitatus; without it there is great risk of political intimidation and stifling public response. Kinda makes me wanna reach for my tinfoil hat when I think of this in combination with those detention centers being developed stateside on the down-low.
