When it started happening I always had the idea that it is caused by the banner ads in the youtube videos. It is in that general location where youtube's banner ads appear, it usually happens a few seconds after the video starts playing, and it doesn't matter whether you you 'scrub' or not (insert TLC no scrubs link here).

TIL there is a show called I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant... how the fuck could you not know for 9 months? I need to take over the Discovery networks and stop stupid shit like this (and lots of the junk on TLC of late)... while I'm at it I'll take History channel over and get rid of Ancient Aliens and other non-history shows... and Sy-Fy and turn it back to Sci-Fi and bring it back to what it was supposed to be...

This is sort of how I discovered Dog the Bounty Hunter, but via South Park...

The dad loves his family and works hard. He does a lot to provide for them.
Honey boo-boo is a funny kid that is not merely the mirror of her mothers unfulfilled childhood desires. She has some genuine fight in her and isn't a nightmare "me me me" kid that you might expect.
The other kids seem pretty well adjusted.
The mum, well, she has issues but she isn't controlling or nasty.
Their diet is fucking dreadful!
Don't get me wrong. This is freak-show television but they are nice, even lovable, freaks without the bitchiness and machismo one has come to expect thanks to shows like Jersey Shore or Real Housewives.

I'm guessing the owner is a type of a hoarder. Born into money and material possessions and never really saw life as anything different than a process of accumulation. No real sense of self-worth except as measured by their loot. Not really different than the fat crazy person on TLC hoarding cats and McDonald's happy meal containers. It's the same type of mental disorder.

Every time Santorum talks about sex opens his mouth, I just think about how repressed his children must be. I am infinately curious as to what life is like in that family. TLC make it happen!

The level of awkward here is huge! I just don't understand why they would do this to themselves. Not to mention invite TLC to watch! hahaha
