Bannon On Oct 31 Outlining The Plan To Steal The Election

newtboy says...

Aaaaahahahaha. Really into projection today, aren’t you?

High horse!? You must be kidding. Just like I’m elitist but living barely above poverty level income….not sure these terms mean what you think they mean.

It’s only because your head is so firmly implanted in your rectum that everything seems like shit. You need to pull it out, wipe yourself off, and give yourself a good scrubbing, maybe reality won’t smell so bad to you anymore. You also might finally see something besides what Trump feeds you.

Too bad all those “falsehoods” are verified facts with cited trustworthy sources, unlike you who just makes up facts they think sound (far) right based on nothing but wishful thinking. Hilarious that you never contradict the facts I provide, you just denounce them offhand because you don’t like them. Real adult.

F1 Double Pitstop

Isotope9 says...

The first car had a set of scrubbed tires put on, the 2nd car had new tires put on. All the tires look like the 2nd set when new because the molds that are used to create the tires are chrome plated.

Why the new tires of the 2nd car were so shiny, almost like covered in plastic?

The Launch of Perseverance to Mars

BSR says...

I lived in Cape Canaveral during the shuttle program and have witnessed all but 5 launches live, once from within the 5 mile zone. The sound at that distance is very loud but, also different compared to a 15 mile distance away. The sound is very sharp and "cracks" unmuffled by air until it gets further away. You can feel the sound waves in your body. It is pretty emotional, even if you've been waiting for hours for liftoff and then the launch gets scrubbed.

I was in Georgia when Challenger exploded. I watched it live on TV and for a short while I couldn't understand why the launch looked so different on TV. It really took a few a seconds to realize what was happening. I cried that day.

Why Covid Outlook is Better in States that Voted for Trump

newtboy says...

The "red states" would just scrub the numbers, just like the HHS has, to make their leadership look better, doncha think?

I wonder if the hospitals report data independently to their own states health departments in addition to CDC/HHS? If so, could compare the before/after slopes for those against the national level data.

You can pretty much stop watching at 3:40 or so.

I didn't watch the whole thing, but I scrubbed through it. Not much else happens, other than some riding.

Probably should have measured that better...

ChaosEngine says...

Yeah, done that (the landing on the flat, not the broken femur). That sounds pretty unpleasant.

I still stand by my statement though, especially in the case of something like this where you're trying to clear an obstacle. It's a lot easier to scrub off a bit of speed at the last minute than to accelerate to clear the road!

This isn't always the case, I had a friend who hit a jump on a ski hill with too much speed... he cleared the slope and landed on the flat below. Snapped his left femur, *cringe*.

Have I been Trumped by Google? (Sift Talk Post)

coffeejerk says...

This seems to be a false positive issue on chromes end for some days.
Saw some logs from admins reporting the same for the current version of chrome post 04032017. Also, there were false positives due to a bug some time ago.

It can result from taking up malformed parts of the page due to missing / unbound variables etc. and interpreting it as modified site content. Even perfectly fine content can be misinterpreted in certain circumstances.

example of older false positive bug: empty attribute in form header
<form method="POST" action=>

Try using another browser for the time being.

Do not disable protective measures. It is however possible that indeed parts of your page were modified by browser plugins and or wanted or unwanted additions to your system. If in question perform a scrubbing on your system via a bootable system if desired.
