I think if you want to make Earth similar to Mars all you have to do is remove the magnetosphere. Instead they claimed it was a “practical impossibility” to get a full bond, which was a bold faced lie, and the bond was reduced by 2/3, which Hankey provided (but his bond may be deficient as a bond in New York, not meeting the minimum requirements for such a bond and not being licensed to issue bonds in the state).
