Warren Buffet: Increase Taxes on Mega-Rich

quantumushroom says...

When will he do this? On is death bed?

A tax-deductible foundation is not the federal mafia. Donating to a foundation is voluntary. Buffoon wants the fed mafia to shakedown more evil rich people.

FAIL. I mean, *coughFAIL*cough

Fortune reports that Buffett will donate 85 percent of his fortune amassed from stock in the Berkshire Hathaway company to five foundations.
The donations, which will come from Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway shares, would amount to about $37 billion, based on current values.
Five-sixths of the money reportedly will go to The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, which specializes in finding cures for diseases that plague impoverished nations.

PAT BUCHANAN: Why doesn’t he set an example and send a check for $5 billion to the federal government? He’s got about $40 billion.
What's Warren Buffoon waiting for? A gun in his face like the rest of us get?

At least you've stopped arguing against the obvious truth that we need to raise taxes on the rich...

Pat Buchanan Comments On Wanda Sykes' Rush Limbaugh Remarks

Asmo says...

>> ^quantumushroom:
So it's "treason" now to question El Presidente?

And here I was thinking it was one women exercising her right to express an opinion. Funnily enough, Rush does that all that time.

I love how "free speech" suddenly falls off the bill of rights when you are criticising the wingnuts of the republican party... =)

Some clarification is in order for our socialist friends

Blah blah blah, nothing new here... =)

Pat Buchanan Comments On Wanda Sykes' Rush Limbaugh Remarks

JiggaJonson says...

Wanda was spot on and it's nice to hear her openly attack Rush's ridiculous comments. Pat Buchanan and the rest of the conservatives still dont fucking get it. To us their party IS a joke. They keep using the same rhetoric over and over again when they should be trying to make valid criticisms of the current administration.

Hardball: Joe Solmonese vs. Pat Buchanan on Gay Marriage

ShakaUVM says...

>> ^volumptuous:
^ Sorry Shaka, I think its the backward church-folk who made the decision to let their ugly bigotry stand in the way of finding kids loving homes.

btw: Who gives one shit what Pat Buchanan has to say about marriage? Jesus fucking christ!

Catholic Charities is not the only adoption agency in the state. They found additional placements for kids without homes. They wouldn't compromise on their beliefs, and the state wouldn't let them only adopt to straight couples. You could just as easily argue that the state's bigotry was at fault, but the real losers here are the kids who won't get to live in a loving household.

Personally, I have no problem if there's a Jewish adoption agency that only finds placements with Jewish families, or whatever, as long as there's a state agency that will adopt to whoever. Getting more kids adopted is a Good Thing, and it sort of makes me sick to think that people would put their politically correct bullshit first over kids who need families.
