OK, here's a thing: colored people suck at racism.
There, I said it. I'm not even trolling here. Honestly, as wrong as racism is, white people are just better at it. Just take racial slurs, there are no good ones for white people. Cracker? Seriously? They're fucking delicious. Put cream cheese on me and I get even better.

Even the argument about theme parties is crap, we're better at this than colored people are. The RNC, Nuremberg Rallies or even random Ku Klux Klan gatherings are far more offensive than anything black people could do. We, white people, out-racist (yes, that's a word now) everybody else without even trying. If there's one thing where white people are far more superiour than anybody else, it's having a feeling of superiority.
I'm not a racist, I believe we're all equally cruel, stupid and worthless. Humans aren't worth the flesh they're printed on. However, from time to time, you'll find out that there are some things a certain group of people is statistically better than others. Sometimes it's in the genes, sometimes it's in the culture but one thing I'm sure of, the actual worth of a human being is decided by its actions.
The truly interesting question is, why are white people so willing and able to take action against reason and empathy and favour fear and ignorance? The actual issue here is not the racism itself, it's the question why it comes so easily and thoughtlessly. Without effort.

You shouldn't worry about racist words, you should worry about racists. I don't have to use the word "nigger" to be a racist, I just have to be one. My favourite Ice T song is "Straight Up Nigga", am I a racist when I quote it's lyrics?
Everybody throws a hissy fit about famous people using the wrong words but we accept intolerant douchebags on TV all the time as long as they watch their language.
You see the same thing with homophobes all the time, it's actually worse regarding this issue. Say "fag" and the internet is up your ass in no time, say the shit Palin and Santorum say and it's just an opinion or believe and you get to be on TV.
Fuck that. I don't care what words you use, if you're an ally, you're on my side. Rude assholes who are on my side are better than nobody, I take what I can get. And my side is the one that that doesn't care about your pigmentation or who you love.

Buffett Blames Congress for Romney's 15% Rate


Warren Buffett, the billionaire calling for more taxes on the rich, said Mitt Romney's U.S. tax rate of about 15 percent reflects poor laws rather than failings by the candidate for the Republican presidential nomination.

"It's the wrong policy to have," Buffett told Bloomberg Television's Betty Liu in an interview today. "He's not going to pay more than the law requires, and I don't fault him for that in the least. But I do fault a law that allows him and me earning enormous sums to pay overall federal taxes at a rate that's about half what the average person in my office pays."

Buffett, chairman and chief executive officer of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (BRK/A) , supports Democratic President Barack Obama and said Congress needs to raise taxes on the wealthiest Americans to close the budget deficit. Romney has agreed to release his 2010 tax return tomorrow, under pressure from Republican opponents, after saying he pays about 15 percent. Romney co- founded Boston-based private-equity firm Bain Capital LLC.

"He makes his money the same way I make my money," Buffett said. "He makes money by moving around big bucks, not by straining his back or going to work and cleaning toilets or whatever it may be. He makes it shoving around money."

This makes no logical sense...obviously the trumpet player was lonely despite being with his fellow troops.

Also, kraut not crout...somebody failed earlier. The Germans were so nicknamed after sauerkraut, which they ate for Vitamin C and other stuff to stave off Scurvy before frozen foods were available on ships. The Brits got their "Limey" nickname from eating limes for the same purpose. I don't know if either are used as perjoratives still or if anyone's offended or what.

Gotta be careful what you say about Jews when your name is Kraut Hammer.

We only use derogatory words like "Hun" and "Kraut" here in the States.
