Hey Lucky…
I’ve been having an issue where if I cut and paste anything into a comment, even an embed, it simply won’t submit. I hit the button and the text goes transparent and the page freezes every time. No idea why, but it’s starting to be annoying. Any idea what’s going on?

"Uh, I actually pressed it already."

I want to know how long ago he pressed the button!!! GOD I hate cliffhangers!

Has Woke Culture Has Gone Too Far

Dishonest drivel by ridiculous ignorami who talk like snobby arrogant 12 year olds with a chip on their shoulders.

Really….he claims indoor plumbing is a major climate change driver, or a symbol of “wokeness”? Wtf is he talking about? More proof that he’s simply rambling nonsense to a crowd or braying morons in suits applauding every insult of the left, not making any valid points.

If enough people press that button to do everything to save their child at all costs without a thought to consequences, every child in the next generation has 5 times the likelihood of not surviving his first year, button or no, and the next 10 times the death rate, and the next 25times….and if everyone pushes that button, it guarantees a near 100% infant death rate this century. There are many ways to improve infant mortality rates without adding to greenhouse emissions….the best being STOP HAVING CHILDREN YOU CANNOT SUPPORT or FEED.

Undeveloped India is going to largely dissolve before they advance technologically. Over 2/3 of the water in that region comes from glaciers….glaciers in many cases expected to be gone completely by 2030. That’s almost 2 billion people suddenly with no water source. There is no technological way to replace that amount of water, never mind the money and energy. Therefore the India and China emission issues he claims are upcoming will likely largely solve themselves as they will be the spearhead of the first major wave of our extinction.

BTW, the comatose (the un-woke) admitted they actually want to ban women in red states from traveling legally because they could get in a car and drive/move to a state where abortion is legal….and they know their HUGELY unpopular plan to make an anti abortion federal law (funny it’s no longer a states rights thing) is a non starter.
So much for freedom.
They also are moving to ban contraception, sodomy, homosexuality, literally any sex that doesn’t lead to unwanted children except heterosexual sex with pre-pubescent girls….they’re in favor of THAT, and have written multiple bills attempting to legalizing it.

Dad used to say this to get me to hit the garage door opener button. It was decades before I had any idea where he came up with it.

Usually tear offs….little plastic shields over the visor that you pull off one by one.
Rich teams have rollers that automatically pull a roll across at the push of a button.
A squirter would just make mud out of all that dust.

Looking close, they are both out of tear offs by the start of the video (this is the end of a long race) but the little black peg on each side of the visor is how they mount, with a ring on one side to pull them off one at a time.

so the navigator can use his hand as a "windshield wiper" but what about the driver?
is there some squirter mechanism in the helmet?

Fairlight CMI - the first digital sampler and sequencer

My dad had a Prophet 2000 shortly before they were available to the public in 85, cost about $2k I think…it was the same technology but for consumers.
Recording samples was a single button push, every characteristic of any sound was infinitely mailable from reverb and attack and fade, sustain, tone, speed, looping, layering, etc. Not a professional unit like this one, lower fidelity, but affordable (by comparison) and comparable in features except the display. It also did MIDI. I have many memories of shoeboxes full of 3.5” “floppies” and way more dials than I knew how to use.

holds water. at the time, thought with derisive cyniscism 'why is he doing this? maybe he wants to be sure the GOP has enough voters!'

held that thought privately until it became obvious.

yeah. most enlightened (the truly bright) find education a gift that all people should be given. ben franklin, Andrew Carnegie, et al knew the deep effect of education on a people/nation/society.

'sides, doesn't do the US well to have hungry air force personnel mistakenly launch missiles when they thought the button said 'lunch'.

I think this argument is invalid from the standpoint of what groups of people he is talking about. The people who tend to value free education by supplementing with tax dollars tend to vote democrat. People who want to keep education expensive and withhold tax aid tend to be republican. Particularly in these modern times: the exit polls show that the more educated you are, the more likely you were to vote democrat. The most educated people seem to be electing those who would like to make education low cost.

Given this, the argument that 'education is kept expensive to keep competition down' is unlikely (though not impossible) to come from an educated person...because the statistics show that this tends to not be the values of an educated person. The educated 'club' tends to value exactly the opposite, and wants everyone to be educated.

Smoke Shop Robbery, Las Vegas - Robber Stabbed

get the drift...sort like those folks who said wearing a cross is a bit like wearing a noose/electric chair/syringe pin or blind-folded man w/cigarette button.

rather it be the fish, dove, flame, lamb, star, or Chi-Rho. If one wanted to prompt angst in a fellow 'Christian' - a rainbow.

what is sorta cool is that minuscule sect of Christians that believe JC slipped and died in the shower. they use bathtub icons.

also kinda hard on boy scouts. the flag patch comes w/the uniform. tried to add some 'hip' to the shirt but the black flag patch wasn't appreciated.

do have veterans in the family, 7 yr - 33 yr, so am okay w/their lapel pins (et al).

Whenever I see this I instantly KNOW these are hypocritical people with “do as I say, not as I do” mentalities. Like those who drape themselves in the flag, it’s proof positive they don’t believe in or respect the religion, they only want to use their faux love for Christianity (or a country) as a club against those they dislike.

The Bible says clearly and unambiguously to never worship idols.

"Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth."
The cross is an idol, a graven image of an execution device. Definitely a thing that is “in the earth”. Any Christian that wears (or even worships) the cross is violating their own religion in an effort to wear it on their sleeve as a badge of honor and/or shield.

Same goes for flags, wearing one as clothing is seriously disrespectful to the flag and the nation for which it stands….especially when it’s done to show how much more patriotic they are…it proves the exact opposite. People wear flag underwear to show their patriotism while literally wiping their ass with it and farting on it all day as they sit on the flag….real patriotic!

I don’t understand people who do that, it’s clear to me that those who wrap themselves in religion or patriotism really have neither.

Conservatives VS KKK : Spot The Difference

newtboy says...

I would just like them farther apart. On my tablet it’s way too easy to hit the wrong one, or ignore, or both, or even all 3 at the same time.
@lucky760, can that go on the list for the next iteration (assuming there is one)? Just a bit more separation of the up/down buttons.

I erased your mistaken vote with mine @BSR

Damn it! Again I upvoted meaning to down vote! I'm too use to upvoting videos.

I think the vote buttons need to be green for up vote and red for down vote or I really to need to pay attention on what I'm doing.

Perhaps maybe make it so the voter can correct an unintended vote.

You win this time bob but, only by mistake.
