Wetten Das has so many fine things in it that I figured, why not make it into a playlist?
Wetten Das...? (or in English, Wanna Bet?) is a long-running German show. There are three parts to the show: Performances, Interviews, and Bets. The interviews are in German, so a hard sell to the Videosift Audience, but the bets are crazy: each has a celebrity that bets whether or not the contestant can do what they said they would in the given amount of time.
In Germany there is a saying: "When you want to conquer the German-speaking market in one night, you have to appear on 'Wetten dass..?", which is quite true for the artists appearing between the bits, not so much for the contestants.
So far these are just my submissions, but there are about a billions videos out there sourced from Wetten Das, so I hope to add submissions from others.

So hard to describe. This Italian Olympic Gymnast on the Italian Wetten das spins around a bar, and drinks a red beverage out of a bottle through a straw--in a minute and a half. It's rather amazing.
