Bring him back. This place has a tendency to become more and more homogeneous rather than diverse. He's always got something entertaining to say. If his powers are removed, than that's a good enough penalty in my book.

Funny enough, on "trolling", if you open any video with a conservative spin, you'll find a great many "normal" sifters become instant trolls...

Example (with a healthy bit of exageration):
Obama speech comments:
"I hate this guy"
"What a liar"
"He doesn't know what he's talking about!"
Sift response: "Get out troll!"

O'Reily monologue comments:
"I hate this guy"
"What a liar"
"He doesn't know what he's talking about!"
Sift response: "AMEN BROTHER!"

I used to be annoyed by this, but now I just think its hilarious.

that was perfect.

No need to apologize Doc_M. I just enjoy debating the nits. In regards to the video in question, I defer to your channel assignments and tags, as they are perfectly accurate and functional.

I apologize personally if I upset you with my re-tagging of your post. I meant nothing mean in my manner. I merely was concerned that the post was inappropriately labeled in a way that would discourage discussion and dissension. I like to see discussion and people who are viewed merely as comedic outcasts from the get-go will not offer their dissenting opinions. I mean no offense. I only mean to be accurate and to encourage discussion.

Please forgive me if you have been angered by this action.

thank you for the great comment doc!
i still do not expect that vid to be sifted, but i have posted a few things of late that come from a more esoteric point of view.
i am not trying to promote them as my own,but i find differing views fascinating.i notice a tendency for atheism on the sift, and in my opinion, that can be just as staunch in its inability to budge as religious fundamentalism.as you stated, what do we KNOW about the soul?...nothing.
i am not an atheist, and would never be so arrogant to state i KNOW anything concerning such matters.i may be opinionated, but i am not rigid in my conceptual beliefs, how can i?there is so much we dont know.
thanks again DOC,i appreciate your input.
till next time.
namaste.

First of all, those self-images are NOT his "false self." They are defining characteristics, ethics, and values that found his beliefs. They are not trivial and they are not simply things that "worry" him.
