Hot Dog City
So I was going through some of the shorts I made back in film school, and I came across this and thought it deserved to be put online in a decent quality version. It's about street vendor hot dogs in Toronto, made for a documentary class. It's short and kind of silly, but in many ways I think it's probably my favourite film that I've made. I don't know if that's an indictment on the quality of my films in general, but there you go.

STARVING NOW! Man, I love a good hotdog. My favorite: all meat chili (none of that cornstarch chili mess, and NO BEANS!), onions (preferably cooked), mustard and cole slaw. It's called the Carolina Dog.
Nice doc, Sarzy. Great choice of music. I think I've never been more excited to watch a hotdog being made in my life. But, you got to stop with these damn food blogs. You're making me hungry.
Making a film is as good of an excuse to get some street meat as any.
I enjoyed picking out the locations: Yonge/Bloor, Yonge/Shuter, Bay/Queen, Union Station to name a few... I may just have to cruise over to my guy in front of Sick Kids & grab one now!
