Super fast pizza box folding

MaxWilder says...

Yeah, I was a driver back in college. We'd get into little competitions sometimes. It's surprising how fast you get. The muscle memory develops pretty fast, too, as long as you aren't holding the box the wrong way, or differently each time.

Chinese People Try Panda Express For The First Time

MaxWilder says...

I'm a big fan of Panda Express when I can't find a tasty local mom & pop Chinese food place. It can be very good, or very bad depending on the restaurant, time of day, and other factors. I haven't nailed down exactly when is the best time to go, but I know that sometimes when I go it's delicious, and other times it will just taste like paste.

I'm not surprised at all that the people in the video have mixed opinions, but I'm really glad they weren't all bashing it.

The word Raccoon is sometimes shortened to Coon, which is a fairly nasty racial slur.

I think you're really stretching for this one. The slur "coon" is thought to come from the Portuguese "barracão" ("shed") which is what they called slave quarters. It's got nothing to do with raccoons.

Yes, there is some debate about the etymology of the racial slur. But that does not change the FACT that the word Raccoon is sometimes shortened to Coon, which is a fairly nasty racial slur.

"Coon" is a racial slur when it refers to black people, not when it refers to raccoons. Just like "cracker" is a racial slur when it refers to white people but not when it refers to saltines.
You seem desperate to call this guy a racist.

If I was to show a video of a bunch of white southern law enforcement officers, then make a dumb joke about them eating crackers, one might legitimately infer that I was referencing the insult "cracker".

This man made a reference to a raccoon (who eats raccoons??) while talking about a black person. And you think it's a stretch? I'm really giving him the benefit of the doubt when I say he just might be oblivious.

Taken to an interpretive extreme, one could make the argument that he was stating that Michelle was eating herself metaphorically, since such an unhealthy meal went against what she has been promoting for children. However, I don't think the speaker is intelligent enough to have consciously intended that meaning.

Also, if she could get her neighbors to all plant gardens in their front yards, even temporarily, the prosecution's argument would implode in his face. Community action, boyo.
