Woven Hand playing acoustic during a power outage

after a storm half of Nijmegen is without power, and so is the small local venue Doornroosje where Woven Hand is performing that evening (as a special act to celebrate Doornroosje's 40th birthday). After two hours it has been decided: the power won't be back in time and the gig will be cancelled. Fortunately, the lucky people of Nijmegen are treated with three acoustic songs by Dave Eugene Edwards and his Woven Hand. Here's a little video of two of the songs, Sinking Hands and Whistling Girl. After the acoustic set (lit by the emergency lighting, that has a battery that's guaranteed for 1 hour and was already burning 2.5 hours) when people where frantically clapping their final applause the power came back, and woven hand played their full (very loud) set. A very special evening. (very crappy light in the vid, obviously - but still a nice, and special, vid imho)
