I hope this was staged....this guy paid and spent the time with 4-7 people and an electric wheel chair to perfectly choreograph and propose to this girl.
She is pretty hot though so maybe it was worth the trouble...of course on the other hand he just lost his man card.
Or it's all a ruse. In which case he probably works there, so I'm still right.
That doesn't mean it's a publicity stunt, it just means he's radical and used his available resources to the best of his ability.
Plus the girl is smoking hot which makes it all worthwhile.
Lots of cheese and Disneyana (not much difference between the two), but it was still pretty damn cool and well-executed. I'm guessing he's a cast member at Disneyland.
Don't worry about your sons singing and dancing -- no one ever thought Gene Kelly was gay.
The whole thing smacked of fakery -- the only thing that sold it as real was the girlfriend's reaction. She really did have that WTF look.
Yeah, they met a year ago on Main St.; he was a manager and she was a 17 year old tourist.

"wanna get married or sumthin?"
"no"
"yeah whatever, didn't want to anyway"
There's a minimum of three camera angles (maybe 5 or more) all with perfect lighting. The medium-height camera has spot-on tracking and the operator knows where the action is going.
The sound is too perfect. They all have to be mic'ed including the cutie.
This is Disney magic at its best.
You people do realize that the people singing and dancing had foreknowledge and planning of this event, right? And that obviously several cameras were filming from different angles and that microphones were used, and people who perform on Broadway are actors. That doesn't make it fake; it makes it well-rehearsed and well-executed.
ps. Got dragged into it by friends and their rugrats. Hated every minute. Honest. True story.
And it does scream of being a bit of a show pony.
Now... the way I proposed, pure genius... and done in a way that the actual asking was done in private, so 'no' could be said... of course being that SHE had already chosen the ring, kinda didn't expect a no.
