(youtube) Losing team scores a winning 3 points with only 0.6 seconds left in the game, all while the other team is celebrating their victory. See the priceless expression on the Coach's face as it turns from celebration to disbelief. Don't celebrate too soon!!!

ZifnabThis happed a couple of years ago during Europs NLB championship game. We have two other video's with slightly different angles/cuts of this already (Both sifted 2 years 3 months 1 week ago):
http://videosift.com/video/Don-t-Celebrate-Too-Early
http://videosift.com/video/NLB-League-Final-from-heaven-to-hell-in-0-5sec
I would consider this one to be a dupe of the second one, but they are not exactly the same. Do we need three videos that are only slightly different here?
sirlivealot says...Well, the question is does the coach's face make it transformative?
God I have been way too into copyright law. Thanks SOPA!
rkone says...It's pretty clear to me the coach was trying to get his team to take note of the game continuing before the shot went up...
Oxen_MoraleWrong, the referee should have stopped the game, there were people out on the court when that last ball was shot.
budzosRedundant title FTL! Of course you should never celebrate TOO soon. If it's too soon, then by definition it's too soon and not to be done. You know what I'm saying? You should say "why you should never celebrate early".
Stu says...It's a figure of speech used at a high frequency in sports to describe end of game sitiations much like this video. I think you criticized too soon.

Fail.
budzosWhat's a figure of speech? "don't do X too soon"? That's not a figure of speech.
I'm talking about any and all combinations of "would/could/should" with "too much". It has little to do with sports. It has to do with wanting language to make sense. Telling me not to do something "too soon" is pointless. Save your breath!

That's what she said!
JiggaJonson@budzos doesn't get this joke:
Although, maybe he's right, and it would sound better if he said "Awwwww EARLY???"

Go shove a remote up your ass... Too soon? My bad.
Have your say...
