Vantablack can make a flat disk of aluminium float on water

YouTube description:

This video shows the effect of the ultra low surface energy, Vantablack S-VIS coating on a plain aluminium disk when it's dropped in a pool of water. The coating's low surface energy combined with the area of the disk helps to give it positive buoyancy. Normally, as aluminium is far more dense, it just sinks in water!
