Ultraísta ~ Our Song (Zero 7 Remix)

Via Stereogum: Considering how much attention Atoms For Peace has gotten, you may have forgotten that Nigel Godrich has another band, called Ultraísta. Last year we heard some remixes of the band by the likes of David Lynch and Four Tet, and now we can expect some more — because they’ve announced a full remix album due later this year. Here’s Zero 7′s remix of “Our Song” which is especially cool if you remember that these folks were some of the first people to remix Radiohead to extraordinary results back in the ’90s. “Our Song” originally sounded jittery and manic, but Zero 7 sounds like they slipped it some Xanax, as the track slows, stretches, and eventually flows into a comfort-food house groove.
