That reminds me of those soldiers who raped a 14 year old girl and then murdered her and her family. I saw pictures on the news of a corner in a stone building with blood all over the floor and walls.

I'm not surprised.

I'm not even shocked.

There are two sides to every coin.

They stone people to death, decapitate people. The US imprisons people, rapes and tortures them.

True. But you'd expect the US, being the more "civilized" society than Iraq, to take the high road. Reacting to violence with violence is just going to perpetuate the cycle. Today, a US soldier rapes and kills an Iraqi woman, tommorow, Iraqi soldier responds with something worse, and so forth.

I don't object to exposing these crimes. I do object to the false implication that these criminal acts are somehow encouraged and business as usual for the US Armed Forces.
