Barsepssays...*NSFW for swears.
siftbotsays...This video has been flagged as being Not Suitable For Work - declared nsfw by Barseps.
cosmovitellisays...Unless your work is patrolling backwoods afghanistan.
Chaucersays...wow! that even made my heart race. I can only imagine how it made them feel.
ChaosEnginesays...a) Is it common practice for US soldiers to do this kind of video?
b) Is it common practice to pick up stuff in a warzone that's known for IEDs?
Morganthsays...That soldier is VERY lucky to be alive. Even though most IEDs are made to go off remotely, plenty of them go off with the slightest contact simply because they're made with home supplies and stability is no guarantee.
ReverendTedsays...I'm curious how often one finds artillery shells laying around in an area like this, that it's not immediately assumed a half-buried artillery shell is a possible IED. Commonly? It IS and has been a warzone for a long time.
renatojjsays...That dumbass soldier should know that you don't go around messing with artillery shells when there's clear mention of IEDs in the title of the video!
Quboidsays...That made my heart race. Imagine if that kid's mother watched this, she wouldn't sleep until he got home.
Fletchsays...Stupid. "It's an artillery shell." Are you kidding me? I can't believe these guys haven't had training on recognizing IEDs. Even dumb ol' sillyvilian me knew IEDs were often made with shell casings. Just a stupid brainfart that could have killed him and anybody close by. He done goofed, and he should have got his ass chewed. Maybe they don't get Discovery Channel there, or he hasn't seen "The Hurt Locker" yet.
Gutspillersays...What a noob.
Unsung_Herosays...I was in Iraq and found an explosive device which was decently obvious. Two wires were coming out the back of the device which ran along a wall through a vent to a back room. My orders were to follow the wires and trace it to the source. They were connected to a car battery with a remote detonator. While defusing the device an enemy soldier grappled me from behind. I fought him off and delivered to rounds into his chest. He was dead before he hit the ground. It was pretty stressful so I turned of my xbox and decided to stop playing battlefield for the day.
jmdsays...Better work on that doctors degree while you are at it.. can't kill anyone instantly from chest wounds.
serosmegsays...I went on a manhunt once. I just got back from Nam. I was hitchhiking through Oregon. Next thing I know there's a bunch of cops chasing after me through the woods! I had to take them all out, it was a bloodbath!

That must have been so stressful! I recommend holidays in Vietnam, Afghanistan and Burma.
