He was in a seat that was over the left wing, and he saw the engine sputter and die. He describes for Bill the harrowing moments of the flight and how things transpired.

That pilot who landed the airplane is an angel, and the whole crew and ferrycaptains, as well as the US Coast Guard, the Hudson ferry workers, NYPD, Port Authority, FDNY and all other Rescue personnel deserve medals for their heroism today.

As Mr. Beretta said, what happened today was a miracle.
