Two Wolves and a Boy

Sweet reunion scene.
YT:"This is a final scene from czech mini TV-series "Braskove" (Little Brothers).
The story is about 14 years old boy who spends his summer holidays in his father´s gamekeeper's lodge. One day he finds a box with two little puppies on their doorsteps. He starts to take care of them and soon finds out that they´re not dogs, but two little orphaned wolf cubs. But that doesn´t change anything and we can watch their summer adventures in the lodge and surrouning forest. When the summer comes to the end they must say goodbye. After a few months, in winter, the boy can finally visit them again and they give him this amazing welcome!

Vaclav Chaloupek is a czech director, screenwriter and wildlife lover. He is best known for many TV-series featuring all kinds of animals, for example Vydrysek (story of a river otter trying to find its home), Medove (story of 3 little bears abandoned by their mother) and many more. They are all made for a kids audience, to raise their interest in nature. I would say that they all have well-balanced proportion of cuteness and education.

Vaclav Chaloupek got these wolf cubs from a czech zoo. The zoo didn´t want them back when the shooting finished so he decided to keep them. They live in a nice enclosure and are well cared for. They can´t be returned to the wild, they were born in captivity and probably would not survive on their own for long. And as Mr. Chaloupek points out, they are most happy in their enclosure and every change of environment makes them nervous. This video confirms it, they don´t look depressed at all.

I´m not quite sure, but the boy is most probably Mr. Chaloupek´s son as he appeared in his other series. Whoever he is, he´s one happy kid, I´d say!"
