One of my favorite shows as a kid, the canadians might know this one as well..

YT Comment: The words at the end translate to "And the Earth... was". The episode deals with the formation of the Earth, life, and the evolution of Man to the time of Homo heidelbergensis. The last episode is the really sad one: Man screws Earth up so badly and in 2060 self-destructs via nuclear war.
