They make the angel of Aberystwyth fly

The work was made as part of an installation at the Aberystwyth Arts Centre for their Connect 2 programme. The frames of the animation were printed onto small perspex tiles that people in Aberystwyth hold and cradle. The choir Côr Meibion also feature in the video and in the installation singing a classic Welsh Lullaby. The animation was Devised by Chris Folwell working with Thom Sansom and Emma Inglis and photos were by Steve Bailey. The 280 perspex pieces were shown in the gallery and then at the end of the show the people who are in shot could come and collect and keep the image.
