Personally I'd file this under trivial information, not education. I see what he's saying, I just don't understand why anyone would care what we call the dimensions, but that's me *shrug*. I get annoyed when people misuse words like "addicting" or use phrases like "could care less" and that can be seem as pedantic by others

For people who understand the dimensions, yeah it can seem a bit unnecessary, I see what you mean. However this world of ours is in pretty dire need of scientifically and rationally minded people and if a video like this has a chance to help some 13 year old browsing the site understand and love science more, then I'm upvoting.

I am not sure I like this guy's videos. They are oversimplified at best, when not patently incorrect. At the end of all of his vids, I feel he hasn't left any useful or new information, but rather spattered out some vaguely intelligible terminology which the layman would hopefully find 'interesting'.

Talk about being Anal...It's obvious just from our nomenclature of course it's irrelevant, standard practice is that X is Dimension 1, Y is Dimension 2, and Z is Dimension 3, this leave something like Time for Dimension 4. Yeah that doesn't mean that dimension 1 is better than dimension 4, it just means we gave numbers to them to identify them... and this guys whining because of it... It's the same as complaining that the dimensions are x, y, and z and time..... I am willing to bet this dude wears hipster glasses.
