During the making of The Emperor's New Groove, the course of the movie changed drastically. This film, shot by Sting's wife, shows a troubled production.

Watch it while you can, it's being taken down everywhere!

When I say 'banned', I mean it was made for inclusion on the DVD, but Disney never chose to. They have removed this from any place it's turned up as they own the rights to it... so it's pretty banned.

Some people say it's because it paints the studio heads in a bad light. Personally, I think they ended up with a better movie for what they did, I found Emperor's New Groove to be a great movie. From the look of what the original movie was shaping up to be it was going to be pretty much just blando Disney tripe... that and the thought of David Spade vs Owen Wilson does not appeal at all (nor does a stone character voiced by Harvey Fierstein... how tiresome).

I think one of the reasons they wouldn't have liked this version is that it focused waaaay too much on Sting (Being that his wife made this, understandable, but amateur thing to do), and less on the creativity that actually went into creating this pretty great movie.

Very interesting though, very interesting.
