After watching this video I can better understand how many of these legends became legends. Amazing what some talent, passion, and the willingness to think outside of the box will get you. I can just picture Q-tip circa 1990 alone in a studio corner zoning out and looping jazz loops, and walah, A Tribe Called Quest.
