The Office UK - Tim's Heart Quietly Breaks

9 years later some people still haven't watched the legend that is The Office. So I don't want to carry on spoiling things for anyone with descriptions, even if it is ridiculous for them to be wanting everyone to stfu about it until they finally get round to watching it in 2014. This is the end scene from the last ever episode
dbalsdonsays...

Few corrections for the description:
Dawn had left her job at the end of Series 2, and moved to America.
In this clip, they had come back for the Xmas party, and were just leaving to go back home.

No, it wouldn't have killed me, I didn't think. Would it have killed you to be polite about it? It does say the last ten minutes at the beginning of the video, and I do say in the blurb that it's from the last ever episode. I apologise profusely if your common sense is less than average, I really shouldn't be so elitist

Probably shouldn't watch clips from a show you're "saving for later". In other news, Darth Vader is Luke's father, the guy in fight club hits himself, and Leo dies in Titanic.

Message brought by gwiz's spoiler service - if your meat is clean, I'll spoil it!

>> ^Babymech:
Would it have killed you not to put goddamn spoilers in the description, for those of us who are saving the office for future enjoyment? Fuck's sake.

You are not giving me any reason to be polite - it would actually be demeaning for me to be polite to you. I would feel less than human if I treated you as someone deserving of respect. I'm asking you not to spoil anything in the description (which you can still change, jackass) - I haven't watched the video, obviously, because I'm saving it. The two of you are priceless.

Alienconcept could you please edit the description? Maybe switch the last sentence to the beginning so that people who 'are saving it' stop reading right after it. Because the way it is now, anyone can read the main plot behind the finale before they even decide to watch the video.

Tags for this video have been changed from 'martin freeman, lucy davis, ricky gervais, tim, dawn, christmas, unrequited' to 'martin freeman, lucy davis, ricky gervais, tim, dawn, christmas, unrequited, SPOILER' - edited by gwiz665

It seems I'm not the only dick.

Sorry! I misunderstood (that's aimed at mauz)...

@Babymech - Your overreaction about a description, which you really didn't need to read if you've been saving The Office up for 9 years to watch (would have thought you'd been more careful by now) is out of line. Go take some valium and come back when you can converse on a somewhat reasonable level, maybe talk to mauz he can clearly help

lertadsays...

In the interests of being pedantic, and in no way defending Babymech, how do you know Babymech heard about the office 9 years ago? It's not as if the first episode airs and pffff! everyone in the world knows about it. I discovered it myself just last year, but of course I live in a third world developing country.

With that disclosure in mind...Babymech, you're a douche.

That's a great point. I don't know whether he did or not. It's highly likely he didn't, especially if he's American and a lot of them thought their version came first

But, that's not the point. Babymech has kicked off at me, because the description has ruined it for him. I get that. But surely the title alone is enough to ensure you don't read any further if it's something you have been saving...

If it weren't for him being an obnoxious feck, i'd honestly be sorry. As it stands, i'm highly amused that he's angry

What a lame ripoff of The Office. I mean "Jim" is "Tim", etc.

First those Brits ripped off Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and Survivor and that American Idol show. Now they have the exact same version of Office.

What is next? Friends? lol.

Xaxsays...

Has it really been 9 years already?!? That's just ridiculous.

Anyways, this was such a pitch-perfect and surprisingly emotional ending to one of the greatest comedy series of all time.

Kruposays...

Yeah, I haven't watch the entirety of the Christmas special... and just saw this for the first time.

I read "last ever" thinking, "from the regular two seasons", not thinking, "it's the special"... of course the latter makes infinitely more sense - and I realized that when those scenes looked very different from what I remembered from the end of season 2.

So the surprise was good and genuine. Sure, I missed whatever the introductory part of the episode was, but I knew the canon anyway so this was a good FF to the end.
