The Last Filmed Moments of GG Allin

I'm not a fan of GG Allin's legacy. But, I do have a strange fascination with one of the most crass individuals to scold the face of the Earth. When I was 12 for some unknown reason I became fascinated with him from the pages of MRR. I went to one of my local punk shops and tried to buy a Murder Junkies record, the owner said he couldn't sell it to me because it was illegal. Which it was - in Pennsylvania and probably other states you actually had to be 18+ to buy their records it wasn't a standard Explicit Warning sort of rating.

Anyway, I put the record back - and grabbed the Spoken Word cd. I don't know how - if you have heard this record you will know it to be much worse than any Murder Junkies record, just rife with gnarly, grotesque ideas not one of anything genius or inspiring; pornography of the mouth.

The owner of the store was a total punk rocker, he put on shows, he sold local zines, mixed tapes - he was in the know... the filth I heard come out of this man's mouth still has me utterly baffled nearly twenty years later. WTF was his problem?!?

This is footage that has surfaced of the last minutes he was filmed after a show in New York that ended in a riot, feces & blood. Allin style. It is interesting seeing a bunch of scum $%^&s walk through the streets of New York with shit and blood on his face. To see the people who come to his aid or flock after him. It's very peculiar but somehow interesting that all he wanted to do at age 36 was getting totally high. He supposedly sniffed three bags of heroin. That would be a feat....
