And it looks bleh, but then I don't am not into this series.

So let me get this straight - the premise is that an unlikely hero, after facing a crisis moment, fights crime by breaking all the rules aided by inventive and comical weaponry and a kooky side-kick?

Well, it's never been done before, but I guess it could work.

Everything can be overgeneralized. The difference is (at least in the comics), everyone thinks Green Hornet is a crime boss eliminating the competition, and Kato is actually the literal Bruce Lee badass, while Green Hornet sort of punches people and shoots them with Tasers.


In any case....Come on, Seth Rogan?! Who made that casting call?

Yeah dude, Seth Rogan.. What a letdown. Could have been a cool idea for a movie until that happened.

When it was first announced there was going to be a Green Hornet movie I was like

But then when I saw this trailer I was like

How sad. TGH is supposed to be a genius and skilled martial artist. Instead of destroying the character so that Seth Rogen can handle it, they should have found an actor that could pull it off.

Also, pulling him into modern times makes him feel way too much like a Batman knockoff.

The Zack Synder style slow-mo to fast-mo concerns me.

As entertaining as it looks (rental atleast), It smacks of the same old plot line of rich nobody realises hes done nothing in his life and uses his money, and the brains of SOMEONE ELSE to help make things right in super hero fasion.
