Regardless of what you think of 'Catcher In The Rye,' I've always found this to be a thought-provoking scene, even though the monologue is being delivered by a con man. That actually makes it more interesting, IMHO. From the film 'Six Degrees Of Separation.' An outstanding performance by Will Smith.
