Emma's friend's mom says that God is a woman. She asks her parents if that's true, and they reply with a song to answer her questions about religion.

The guy playing guitar was a substitute teacher who got fired for having been part of the video, though nobody had yet complained, because the school district figured kids could in hypothetically have access to it and might make them question religion, causing issues. He eventually got the negative record expunged and will get positive referrals.
