Texas Female Legislators Get Angry on the House floor

She is a bit incoherent about what her problem is -- hang on until the end if you can, it gets more and more coherent. It is clear that she and the rest of the women in the Legislator have had enough with the good ole boy club down there in Texas. Apparently she had put forth a bill about insurance. The Texas Civil Justice League put out a flyer to try to convince legislators to vote against her insurance bill. Their point was, apparently, that this bill was a nanny state bill -- and to drive that point home showed a woman's breast, nursing a baby. Apparently a lot of the male legislators got their panties in a bunch about the idea of women breastfeeding in public in the past and then used this imagery to squash the bill.
