THE BUS

I had a band called Swahili. Influenced by This Heat, Sonic Youth and Drive Like Jehu. The guy who owns the bus used to play in A Minor Forest.... who were an awesome instrumental band on Chicago's Thrill Jockey records (Tortoise, Don Cab, etc).

We played on this bus. My guitar player got in this girl's face. He threw his guitar down (which happened to be my beloved Fender Mustang) and walked out as I played a dance beat jokingly. His girlfriend broke up with him. And he cried like a baby. Mikee if you are reading this, stop being a fucking baby and your comedy act sucks! JK.
