South Park is cutting edge? Please. South Park is as mainstream as a Bud Light commercial. Yeah, they're really going out on a limb making fun of gays and Scientology. They take no serious risks, they just hide behind cartoons to say what the majority of people are afraid to say out loud in person.

And, "Oh my God, they killed Kenny". Holy SHIT that's funny! Nearly as funny the millionth time as the first, really. Trey, Matt.. hang up your Colorado-issued bongs and get real jobs. Jobs where you're not required to repeatedly vomit your lame ass talking turd jokes and "shocking" commentary on religion, gays, any other social minorities. You're has-beens, and the support of your idiot fans isn't evidence to the contrary.

Ha, I thought that "cutting edge" comment might catch some flack. I guess I meant cutting edge, as in edge of the envelope, likely to be banned, censored or condemned by churches.

I agree that a lot of the stuff on South Park has gotten pretty tired, but for their best stuff, there is nothing better:

DogInARocket: for serious risks, see this week when it appears they will try to stir up some controversy by reproducing images of mohammed. i would guess comedy central would censor them but they are making a political stand nonetheless.
