ShepppardThat press conference was a joke. Instead of acknowledging their problem with their phone, they instead brought out their competitors phones and showed what you needed to do to drop a call with them.
So, now all the apple fanboys will be saying how the iphone is supirior, even though the competitors spent all weekend faxing and emailing news outlets disproving apples claims. It wasn't about an apple product, and therefore none of them will have bothered to read it.

westyThe resoin people wine about apple and want to slag it off is not down to the products specifcally.
they are against steve jobs Bullshit atitude and the bullshit atitude of allot of people that bum apple and the companies general ethos.
thats why people dont feal like they need to argue against specific shit HTC andriod phones or slag off nokiea because andriod , and nokiea dont market themselfs as a fasion accesory.
You normaly buy other devices off the merrits of the indavidual devices , but a large propotoin of people that buy apple stuff buy it because its apple , in the same way they would buy a nike T shirt or a guchi hand bag.
To make things more clouded , apple have produced some realy good products over time , but they transfer the sucssess and perception from these gr8 products to the other compleaty shit products and amazingly a huge group of there user base stand buy them.
