Sabicas (Agustín Castellón Campos), born in 1912 in Pamplona, Spain and died in 14 April 1990 in New York. Began playing at age 4 and performing at age 6. Early influence was Ramon Montoya, uncle to Carlos Montoya but who refused to teach him.

Sabicas was responsible for introducing Flamenco to audiences outside of Spain and influenced many guitarists. He was known for his impeccable style and perfect pitch.
