Ok, here goes... (according to the tubes, this guy was caught by the way)

(1)..... Thief breaks into car
(2)..... Dashcam in nearby car records the incident
(3)..... Thief sees dashcam & breaks into THAT car to retrieve the evidence
(4)..... Owner of dashcam gives chase & thief drops dashcam for a better chance of escape.
(5)..... Owner recovers cam + evidence & uploads.
