Chills down my spine the first time I saw this in theaters... seriously, Ridley Scott knows how to film a kickass battle sequence! And for what its worth, the historical accuracy of the military technology in this film was pretty good... except that all the horses had stirrups on their saddles, silly movie makers, the Romans didn't even know what stirrups were! Oh well, I guess no actor these days would be able to keep his seat without them... sigh...
