"The unexpected loss of Robin Williams has undoubtedly affected people around the globe--his family, friends, those he worked with, and his fans. Over the span of nearly five decades, Robin Williams entertained us, in both comedic and dramatic roles, with a vivacious spirit that seemed unstoppable. Audiences saw the perpetual showman, the man who could make you laugh until til your sides hurt... or break your heart and think about it for days, if not years after. In 1994, the ADI crew had the pleasure of working with Robin on the film JUMANJI. He was, as many have remarked, a complete riot on set, but he was also very much a professional--courteous, polite, and hard-working. Robin spent days on our animatronic crocodile while our puppeteers tossed him around. He never complained--in fact, he pushed his own physical capabilities to make the shots better.
Years later our professional paths crossed again on a shoot for the film OLD DOGS. Robin quickly recognized our crew and reminisced with us on the JUMANJI days. His good nature and kindness made for a fun and memorable shoot."
