Although this is fantastic vial material! it really detracts from the "rality" of the show, that being said, I do not watch the show so I do not know if they have a format where they are aware they are on a screen, but then I say that and I start to wonder how this can be a good show if it just mimicks other show formats....

I should stop thinking before all mainstream tv just seems like its all the same..

Hrmm, then again I could take the aspect that WE as the viewers realize it is "fake" and succumb to the desired effect that the television is more or less a viewing vessel, that which is no more akin to a student leaving a camcorder in the lecture hall. We view the show through the television expecting that it follows a staged performance, that which is like sitting in a theatre watching actors on stage, clearly knowing they are on stage, but breaking character to tell the audience they are back at a certain date.
