Richard Winters on Brecourt Manor Assault

Richard Winters talking about the assault on Brecourt Manor that's depicted in the Band of Brothers episode "Day of Days." Winters had only 13 men and the German position had ~60. The assault is now used at West Point as a case study on an assault on a fixed position. Winters was nominated for the Medal of Honor, but the award was downgraded to the Distinguished Service Cross due to the policy of only one Medal of Honor per division.
