Reporter has a potty mouth

Local news guy reports on the Canadian brown finch overpopulation in town now. The birds don't like being called an infestation and let us know by totally dropping a deuce in dude's mouth!

Fake?

I got sh*ted in high school when I was eating lunch outdoor under a tree.

I was told that in Chinese culture, getting poo'ed by birds mean you're getting married. Well, I am in my 30s and still not married. Um.

This is indeed fake.

I agree...couldn't post this or up vote it because it seems fake to me. The whole appeal of this video for me is that it's something that really happened on live tv and I don't think either is the case.

Naturally its fake.

Cause local news teams have nothing to do all day but get a camera crew, reporter, and staff (who immediately come to his aid) go on location and drop bird sh*t looking substance into each others mouths.

For financial gains I suppose. Rofl.

VS comments have steadily been declining to the point it's just the same as visiting YT. Sad.

There are two stations in the USA that have the name "7 Action News" or any variant of that title. One of them is Detroit. The other is in Albuquerque, NM. Plus one for "real."

The reporter's name is not listed on the bottom of the screen. Plus one for "fake."

The graphics appear to have been designed in 1991. Plus one for "fake."

There is no such bird as the Canadian brown finch. Plus one for "fake."

We all know that bird poo is lucky. If this was real he would be laughing joyfully at his good fortune. Plus one for "fake."

...and that about does it.

Yes, ant, but you're also not Chinese, eh?

We call fake, but do so with love. YT has nothing on the quality of our comments. Here you can downvote the original submitter of the vid, whereas there they're immune.

BAH, I say!

that "7 in a circle" logo is fairly ubiquitous, and it'll be an occupied VHF station number in at least half of all significant metropolitan areas, here in the states.
i used to live in the Miami/ Ft. Lauderdale area (specifically, a 'burb called Coral Springs) and that was the same logo they used, with different coloring. could count toward either real or fake.

that logo onscreen, matches that on the mike. + real
though not difficult to print a good sticker, and the mic itself could even be a mockup. + fake

>The reporter's name is not listed on the bottom of the screen. Plus one for "fake."

could've appeared, the moment before the start of the clip, as we see it? + real

>The graphics appear to have been designed in 1991. Plus one for "fake."

true. and funny. but maybe they're the 4th place station there, and can't afford better? + real

>There is no such bird as the Canadian brown finch. Plus one for "fake."

so that's why i like sitting under trees!

Citation needed? No, not really. There is no such thing as a Canadian Brown finch. How does one cite proof that a species of bird doesn't exist? This video was fake, there's no doubt about it. It's still funny, though.

Plus, aren't news crews usually just reporter and camera? Why is there a boom mic if the reporter is holding one?

"Why is there a boom mic if the reporter is holding one?"

hah! well played MG. i didn't notice! must be there to record the noise of the flocking finches!
