"Phantom of the Open Hearth" A PBS movie from 1976 which, like "A Christmas Story", is based on the stories of Jean Shepherd (who also narrates both films). We follow many of the same family members and characters as in that film, only here Ralph is in high school and scheming ways to get his favorite girl to come with him to the prom. Some stories are also repeated in the later film.
