Rally photographer job description

Duties include:
1) Almost dying
2) Leaning casually against wall and crossing legs after almost dying
3) Taking pictures of cars that almost killed you
4) Helping drivers of cars that almost killed you

I still love the fact that his first instinct after his close brush with death is to take a picture.

And eventually his second instinct is to go see if the driver is ok.

Actually, he couldn't be bothered until the lady yelled "help him!".


It is not his job to help.

The driver is a professional risk taker. The photographer is a professional photo taker. He is obviously a very good photographer... right up to the point where he stops doing his job to go and needlessly help some guy out of a car.

I repeat: this wasn't an accident, this was all part of the job for all concerned. Please people, you love the photos, so let the photographers do their job.
