Psychedelic Fretless Funk Rock Bass with Delay

Funky good times on my fretless Cortex bass with some fun spacey grooves with delay, double stops, slides and other cool things you can do with a fretless :) Had a blast writing and recording it!
This Cortex bass is loaded with a Nordstrand Dual Coil pickup and Glockenklang preamp. I’m using Ernie Ball Cobalt Slinky strings and recorded the signal with the DI of my Eich T-1000 amp straight into my Focusrite Audio interface. I used a Walrus Audio D1 Delay, a Rodenberg 707b booster and a Darkglass Hyper Luminal compressor. I made the drums in Cubase with Addictive Drums, mastering was done with Ozone 4.

I liked the funk, but truth be told it was the album displayed in the background that triggered me to post….I love me some good old Peter Steele/Carnivore (his band before type o negative)
