Positive Perception of Birth

A movement which is trying to promote the use of positive imagery of birth in the media. This group of birth professionals recognises that there needs to be a major change in the portrayal of birth, away from the negative, frightening images that we are constantly bombarded with, to a more balanced, positive one. All this fear and negativity is detrimentally affecting women, before they even reach full term pregnancy, as well as the men on whose support they depend.
