Phil Plait on 'doomsday' asteroid, to miss Earth tomorrow

Tomorrow, Nov 8 2011, asteroid 2005 YU55 will miss Earth by 320,000 km. Two years ago, "prophets" were claiming this asteroid would hit Earth, extinguishing all life, etc etc etc.

This is astronomer Phil Plait's Jan 2008 response to those claims. Looks like he was right.
