Paul Shaffer Asks Julia Roberts a Forbidden Question

Quite amusing.

Julia is one of those women that I wax and wane on depending on the angle of light or the phase of the moon or something.

Sometimes she appears gorgeous and worthy of the adulation she receives, and then other times I just don't see what people see in her (attractiveness wise I'm saying here, not judging her personality on any level).

Odd.

I think she lights up when she smiles. Some people think her mouth is too big, I think it's gorgeous. But I do agree there are some times when she is not lit right and she looks a little plain. But those are less common than when she looks wonderful.

Makeup is overrated. It's like advertising, firms have to advertise because they know their competitors will, and then if they don't then they'll lose out so it's a prisoner's dilemma. Personally I'd rather have a wider choice than nzillion bratz dolls but beggars can't be choosers can they?

Oh and on a totally related note, dunno about Julia Roberts but if she is in fact a shemale, Letterman was definitely getting laid.

So was that a yes or a no?

I'll assume it's a "no", otherwise you'd get a knowing smile or something.

Funny thing is seing her niece Emma - it's like, "whoa, doppelganger!"

And, well, *femme

She's a scare crow. The camera adds 15 pounds and she already looks like she could add 15. Plus just look at her face, she's been under the knife, I think her mouth's fine, but over all she looks likes someone's boring mom.

I'm not sure how this turned into a talk about makeup, but I guess this is the norm for the sift.

Different people are suited to different kinds of makeup. There's a lot of makeup that's supposed to give the "natural" look, and you won't really notice it at first glance if it's been put on properly.

But hey, maybe I'm just saying it from an Asian perspective. All the ladies have makeup on all the time here.

When I was in Japan, only a tiny fraction wore the obvious-tacky-makeup that is common in the USA. It was much more subtle if they wore any at all. I did see advertisements in Japan for products that bleach skin to make it whiter. That's pointless and probably unsafe.
