Passengers push Jet in Siberia

Passengers in Igarka, a remote town in Siberia, push their plane to get it moving after they were asked to leave the aircraft in extremely cold weather. The aeroplane had become stuck as temperatures plunged to -50C. The Tupolev 134, reportedly carrying 74 passengers, took off and landed safely in the regional centre of Krasnoyarsk.

Photos and more details at the Siberian Times, who report that the wrong grease was used for the landing gear, and the brake pads had frozen.
