POW blinks "TORTURE" in morse code during a forced interview

"Jerimiah Denton, USN was shot down and held Prisoner of War in Hanoi, North Vietnam. During his stay there, the POWs were tortured (some to death) but they had no means of telling the world what was happening to them. During an International news visit, POWs were forced to make "propaganda" films to show how "humanely" they were being treated. Denton volunteered, then BLINKED "T-O-R-T-U-R-E" in Morse Code throughout his interview. Hero! They fed him well x2 wks before his "show"." - YouTube comment

Very ballsy too. If the Vietnamese figured it out he might all of a sudden "get sick."

Probably a good chance of that anyway. I mean, he got 2 weeks of food and a chance at getting a message home so pretty good deal, in that situation it might be a no brainer.

"Their plane was shot down and the two men were captured by hostile forces. Denton and Tschudy were both held as prisoners of war for almost eight years, four of which were spent in solitary confinement...

"Denton was part of a group of about 11 prisoners known as the "Alcatraz Gang"... which was separated from other captives and placed in solitary confinement for their leadership in resisting their captors. "Alcatraz" was a special facility in a courtyard behind the North Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense, located about one mile away from Hoa Lo Prison.

"In Alcatraz, each of the 11 men were kept in solitary confinement, where cells measured 3 feet by 9 feet and had a light bulb kept on around the clock; the prisoners were locked each night in irons by a guard."

What I got from his Morse code message was 'Enhanced Interrogation Techniques in use', not 'torture'.

Ya... I wonder what the Gitmo detainees call their little home-away-from-home.

You're such an insensitive bastard you'll even belittle THE UNIMAGINABLE SUFFERING of your fellow teammates just to crack on Obama.

You're a disgusting creature.

I hope someone shoves bamboo slivers underneath your fingernails and forces you to type out apologies to Mr. Denton and his men.

You know, so you'll have some perspective before you go typing up ignorant ass comments like this.
